Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that they are now looking for nominees to be a member of Philippine Board of Nursing.
PRC Board of Nursing is an administrative body that regulates nursing practice in the Philippines. Their primary duties are implementing the Nursing Law, administer Nurse Licensure Examination, and maintain nursing standard of education by auditing nursing schools.
Currently, PRC BON is composed of the following: Chairman Glenda S. Arquiza; Members Carmelita C. Divinagracia, Gloria B. Arcos, Carfredda P. Dumlao, Florence C. Cawaon and Cora A. Añonuevo.
PRC is now accepting nominees for the position. If you or your colleagues are interested to be nominated, you may submit the following to the PNA Office as soon as possible:

• PDS (Nomination Form)
• SANDIGANBAYAN (Clearance)
• CSC (Clearance)
• NBI (Clearance)
• UPDATED PRC ID CARD
• OMB (Clearance)
• MEDICAL CERTIFICATE
(Necessary for candidate to be nominated/endorsed by PNA to PRC)
• PNA MEMBERSHIP CARD

Note: Only completed PRC REQUIREMENTS will be forwarded to PRC. All nominees will undergo an interview conducted by past PNA presidents (To be scheduled).
According to PRC, those who qualifies as Chairman or member of the Board of Nursing shall automatically resign from any teaching position in any school, college or university and/ or review program for the local nursing board examinations or in any office or employment in the Government or any subdivision, agency or instrumentality thereof, including government-owned or controlled corporations or their subsidiaries. He shall not have any pecuniary interest in or administrative supervision over any institution offering basic nursing education programs, including review classes.
