PRC lists 229 CPD programs for nurses

Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has updated the list of accredited CPD Programs for nurses this 2017.

In a list posted online, PRC CPD Council for Nurses has approved 229 programs with providers mostly in Metro Manila. The list also contains the schedule and registration fee of programs or seminars.

Based on the latest PRC resolution no. 2016-990 entitled “Amendments to the Revised Guidelines on the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program for All Registered and Licensed Professionals” issued June 28, 2016, regulated professionals must earn CPD units as requirement for renewal of their professional identification cards.

PRC will start requiring it on July 2017.

Here’s the list of CPD Programs for Nurses:

The PRC resolution is in compliance with the new CPD Law or the Republic Act 10912 entitled Continuing Professional Development Act of 2016. The measure sponsored by Senator Antonio Trillanes in the upper chamber, lapsed into law last July 21, 2016 after former President Benigno Aquino III neither signed or vetoed it.
