PRC released the Resolution No. 2016-1019 which determined and fixed the schedule of licensure examinations for 2017, and of course it included the nursing board exam. The resolution was issued November 23, 2016 and signed by PRC chairman Teofilo S. Pilando Jr, commissioners Angeline T. Chuachiaco and Yolanda D. Reyes.
Take note of the following important dates for NLE 2017:
NLE Schedule 2017
1st batch: June 4-5, 2017- Opening of Online Application - March 3, 2017
- Deadline of Filing of Applications - May 3, 2017
- Target Date of Results - June 23, 2017
- Opening of Online Application - August 25, 2017
- Deadline of Filing of Applications - October 25, 2017
- Target Date of Results - December 15, 2017
Requirements First Timers and Retakers
First Timers1. Duly accomplished Nurses’ Application Form (NAF)
2. NSO Documents (both original and photocopy)
a. Birth Certificate
b. Marriage Contract (for female married first timers)
3. TOR with the following indications:
a. Degree/course (For graduates of New Schools / Degree / Programs, School Recognition and/or Permit to Operate should be submitted)
b. Exact date of graduation
c. Special (S.O.) / exemption / accreditation / deregulation status (For graduates of any government schools and institutions / programs accredited by recognized accrediting agencies under the FAAP, S.O. is an exemption)
d. Scanned picture
e. “FOR BOARD EXAMINATION PURPOSES ONLY” remarks.

5. Examination Fee
a. Baccalaureate Degree: P900
b. Non-Baccalaureate Degree: P600
c. Removal: P450
6. Other Requirements
a. 4 pcs passport pictures in white background with complete name tag
b. 1 pc window mailing envelope with metered postage stamp
c. Current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
