NDP 2017: DOH Region 13 application, qualifying exam schedule

The Department of Health Region XIII in CARAGA is now accepting application for Nurse Deployment Project (NDP) 2017 which will deploy nurses to rural health units. Check the application details and schedule of qualifying exams below.

The DOH in Caraga Region covers the provinces of Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur and Dinagat Island, with Butuan as administrative center.

The hiring for NDP nurses is part of Human Resource for Health (HRH) Deployment Program of the health department. Aside from nurses, hiring of doctors, dentists, midwives, medtechs and public health associates (PHA) is also open for the following programs for calendar year 2017:

• Nurse Deployment Project (NDP)
• Rural Health Midwives Placement Program (RHMPP)
• Dentist Deployment Project (DDP)
• Universal Health Care Implementer (UHCI)
• Medical Technologist Deployment Project (MTDP)
• Public Health Associates Deployment Project (PHADP)

Requirements

1. Duly accomplished Application Form (You may download it HERE) available at the DOH regional office.
2. Application letter addressed to:

JOSE R. LLACUNA, JR, MD, MPH, CESO III
Director IV
DOH Regional Office XIII

3. Photocopy of Updated PRC License (for nurses, doctors, dentists, midwives, medical technologists).
4. Photocopy of PRC Board Rating.
5. Certified True Copy of Diploma (for PHA applicants only).
6. Photocopy of Certificate of Trainings/Seminars attended.

Deadline for submission of all applications will be on or before November 10, 2016. Applications with no attached photocopy of PRC License & Certified True Copy of Diploma (for PHAs) will not be entertained.

Schedule of Qualifying Exams

• November 15 - NDP Surigao del Norte and Dinagat Island province
• November 16 - NDP Surigao del Sur
• November 17 - NDP Agusan del Sur
• November 18 - NDP Agusan del Norte
• November 21 - RHMPP All provinces
• November 22 - MDTP All provinces
• November 22 - DDP All provinces
• November 23 - PHADP and UHCI All provinces

The exam will be good for 1 hour only, on a first come and first served basis and will start at 8:00AM to 12:00NN and 1:00PM to 5:00PM. Venue will be at Vicente Hall, Luciana Convention Center, Butuan City.

Kindly bring your updated PRC License/PRC Certificate of Good Standing.
