DOH-RO6 covers the provinces of Iloilo, Antique, Capiz, Aklan, Guimaras and Negros Occidental, with Iloilo City as regional office location.
In a post done on Friday, DOH announced that the NDP 2017 hiring is part of Human Resource for Health (HRH) Deployment Programs which aims to improve local health systems that will support the country’s attainment of All for Health towards Health for All or “Lahat para sa Kalusugan tungo sa Kalusugan para sa Lahat”.
Aside from nurses, the following programs also have vacancies and open for application:
UHC Implementer Deployment Project - Registered health professional (preferably a Physician or a Registered Nurse)
Dentist Deployment Project (DDP) - Registered Dentist
Rural Health Midwives Placement Program (RHMPP) - Registered Midwife
Public Health Associates Deployment Project (PHADP) - Bachelor’s Degree of any health allied course
Medical Technologist Deployment Project (MTDP) - Registered Medical Technologist
Hired healthcare professionals will be deployed to rural health units, birthing homes, and barangay health stations in Western Visayas. Contract period will be from January to June 2017, renewable based on Very Satisfactory Performance Rating.

Registration and submission of application should be done online, via DOH - 6 Recruitment Portal (Click HERE for direct link). Application period is only from October 29 to November 3, 2016.
All interested applicants must have an excellent internet connect to avoid inconvenience during online registration. After online registration and application, confirmation slips which will serve as examination permit will be issued.
Applicants must download and print it as a requirement for qualifying exam.
NDP nurses and other healthcare professionals under the HRH 2017 Deployment Program will be sent to identified municipalities of the National Anti - Poverty Commission (NAPC), the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) or Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) areas, areas with Indigenous People Groups (IPs) and the Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDA) of Western Visayas.
