Filipino nurse Edz Ello mocks Singaporeans in Facebook | Fake account?

Filipino nurse working in Singapore hospital is in trouble after he allegedly posted anti-Singaporean rant in social media.

Facebook user Edz Ello, who works in Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), is now under investigation for his derogatory comments posted in Facebook which include calling Singaporean 'loosers' and 'Stinkaporeans'.

"Now the Singaporeans are loosers in their own country, we take their jobs, their women, their future, and soon evict all SG loosers out of their own country hahaha. The best part, I will be praying that disastors strike Singapore and more Singaporeans die than I will celebrate. REMEMBER PINOY BETTER AND STRONGER THAN STINKAPOREANS."

"Yes I love our people, we will kick out all the Singaporeans and SG will be the new filipino state."

His post went viral in the Lion City and stirred a lot of hate online. Singaporeans online informed TTSH of his hateful comments, prompting the hospital to issue the following statement:

"We have received feedback from concerned members of the public on inflammatory online posts allegedly made by one of our nursing staff. This is a serious matter. We are a public healthcare institution and we expect our staff to be respectful and professional. We do not condone behaviours or comments that are irresponsible and offensive, and will take the appropriate disciplinary action where necessary.

"The Hospital and the nurse are cooperating fully with the police on this matter. The nurse is currently put on administrative duties, pending police investigations. We thank everyone for their concern and ask for patience for the investigation to take its due course."

The hospital added that Ello reported to the police that his account was hacked, and a fake Facebook account using his name was made to post the hateful comments. Apparently the hospital is on his side as he was assisting in operating room when the comments were made in social media.

But irate Singaporeans said that he has been posting derogatory statements in social media since August last year.

The Edz Ello account looks fake.

Editor: A quick look at the Facebook profile of the 'Edz Ello' who made the comments showed signs of a fake or poser account as it has 'liked' only 1 page and has a few content. It has been deleted.  Original account of Edz Ello is under a different name, we are not divulging it for his security.
